When I first decided to start a blog, I don't think I thought it through very much. I knew that I wanted to share my thoughts, family activities and my love for shopping and makeup and all things girly. I didn't expect to share pictures or do anything important...but looking back at the few posts kind of makes me feel sad. Although I love reading them-there's only 3 to look at!? I guess time was really scarce when my daughter had arrived-but, I wish I had made time to because it's all the small details that make the difference. Also everyday is so easy to forget when we are constantly living in a world of tomorrow's! I will try to fill you all in on everything in between- I will write down as much as I can remember from that last post.
December 2010- Isabella was born..three weeks early but I just couldn't wait any longer and apparently neither could she. She decided to have some fun playing jump rope in there and she got her legs all caught up on the umbilical cords so she was brought into the world via emergency c-section. It was quite scary I was worried about my daughter and if she was going to be born healthy and I was nervous because I had never been opened up before... The doctor was worried that Izzy couldn't breathe and rightfully so since my water had already broken. I was put to sleep during the c-section and when I came to in the recovery room I was able to finally see her-it was amazing just that same feeling I had when I saw Grayson for the first time. My princess had arrived!
January 2011-
After giving birth to Isabella we decided as a family that we would stay at my parents house. My mom wanted to help me take care of Grayson and Isabella so she was able to get time off from work and take care of me while I was recovering from my c-section. Isn't it good to have a Mommy even as an adult they still take such good care of you.
After a few weeks I was feeling better and during this time my husband had told me that our home loan was about to adjust and that we would need to move. My mother in law was willing to help us by letting us stay in one of her homes that she rents out, her tenants were leaving so we it was perfect timing. Also I know my mother in law wanted a chance to spend more time with her grand babies and this house is only 5 minutes away from hers. I feel so blessed that I am surrounded by such a supportive and loving family. So, we moved in and have been staying here since. I miss our first home-we lived there for 5 years and that was the house that Grayson had all of his "firsts" in.
So much has happened in this house-Isabella's first steps, First words, all of her milestones were here. It's just amazing that it all happens so quickly. Grayson is attending kindergarden close by and is learning so much. Our family is happy and healthy. Each day is a new thing-we have our ups and down like everyone else but I know God has blessed us.
